Marvelous capture of this very self-assured bird Marie-Helene! I don't believe this bird lives here in the U.S. I have never seen one like him.

Excellent photo... we have a similar bird called the meadow lark that I heard singing recently... very nice.

C'est certainement une alouette des champs et le chant est une aide dans l'identification de cette espece. Comme c'est au Maroc je ne sais si il y a d'autres especes d'alouettes.
