L'huile d'olive 1

L'huile d 'olive est parfois pressée dans des pressoirs modernes pour la vente mais reste encore pressée artisanalement .
Le goût de cette huile n'a rien à voir avec celle du commerce . C'est celle que j'utilise sur du pain complet pour mon petit déjeuner le matin ,achetée sur place au pressoir directement .
Les ânes tournent la meule qui écrase les olives
The oil of olive is sometimes pressed in modern presses for the sale but remains still pressed in the countryside .
The taste of this oil has nothing to do with that of the business. It is the one that I use on some whole bread for my breakfast in the morning, bought on the spot from the press directly.

J'imagine aisément son goût (et son odeur) incomparable ! C'est fantastique que cette façon de la pressser subsiste encore (même si je pense que cela doit être dur physiquement).

pas d'huile frelatée pour toi; mais tout l'arome des olives pressées à l'ancienne, comme je t'envie avec ton pain cuit peut être au four que tu nous as montré l'autre jour .. et maintenant l'huile d'olive, c'est la vraie vie .. celle que tu vis ..

Oh encore une scène intemporelle, j'aime bcp ces ambiances sur lesquelles le temps ne semble pas avoir de prise... Te rejoindrais bien demain pour le petit-déj mais je serai dans le train pour le Nord (et je doute qu'ils mangent de ce pain-là ;o)

les anes tournent la meule et apres, une fois les olives pressées, on laisse reposer et l'huile nage a la surface et puis est receuillie ????? j'en sais rien, je demande !

Oh, Marie, this oil must be super-delicious. I've been told Greek olive oil is wonderful but straight from the press such as this must be the very best.
You captured a bit of history here - a wonderful image!

Impressive capture and impressive work! Our society has evolved to the point of putting these people out of work to gain more efficient productivity. But "evolved" is the wrong word to use here. "Succumbed" is a better word. Because it is the "corporation" that we have succumbed to in lazy greed.
