Veronelle from Lens, France

Observing from West Cheshire, United Kingdom

It's a fabulous landscape, but it looks hot and dry. It's sad to see that donkey in the heat without shelter.

27 Aug 2008 1:07pm

@Observing: Hello Mike !Thank you !Animals are always in the sun and no drinking trough as in Europe .Mais at least all this time he does not pull heavy loads at hills!

zOOm from Paris, France

akarui from Kagoshima, Japan

27 Aug 2008 11:35pm

@akarui: Merci Olivier . Cette photo a été prise à 17h locales !

@DarkElf: Thank you very much DarkElf !

Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United States

There is so little greenery, but the colors of the earth are BEAUTIFUL! I like your composition, showing us the intersecting hillsides and the donkey is wonderfully positioned. Is there a small river perhaps, in that valley where all the trees are?

28 Aug 2008 10:56am

@Judy: Thank you Judy ! yes there are some rivers butthey are dry in summer;there is some water in basement and springs, inhabitants dig in the bed of the river
