nicely composed and framed, and i love the subdued and misty atmosphere in this busy harbour!

While I know of them, I don't believe I have ever seen a car ferry. A great perspective here showing how the cars are lined up and getting ready to debark. Looks like it may have been a rough ride with those whitecaps.

Beaucoup de monde, beaucoup de clapot avec tous ces mouvements de bateaux... la ville sur l'eau. Le ferry a un "style oriental", je trouve, avec son vaste balcon ;)

Anyway, this dark green-greyed image is wonderful. Dim weather but many people jammed on this ferry , completely their journey. I love the ambiance here.
