Meeting de la rencontre des Tigres de l'OTAN .
Il y a 50 ans, le 19 juillet 1961, se déroulait la toute première rencontre des Tigres de l’OTAN sur la base américaine de RAF Woodbridge en Angleterre 3 Tigres :Les Etats-Unis- le Royaume Uni et la France.
Aujourd'hui le Nato Tiger Meet est devenu l’exercice aérien interarmées et interallié le plus important sur le sol européen (17 nations).
A l'occasion du 50ème Tiger Meet un fabuleux meeting en 3 parties a eu lieu à Cambrai (Nord), sur la Base aérienne 103, et organisé par l’Escadron de Chasse 1/12 “Cambrésis” .

50 years ago, on July 19th, 1961, took place the very first meeting of the Tigers of the NATO on the RAF Woodbridge's American base in England 3 Tigers:USA , United Kingdom and France.
Today Nato Tiger Meet became for joint task forces and interallied the most important exercise on the European ground ( 17 nations).
On the 50th Tiger Meet , a fabulous meeting took place in Cambrai (North of France), on the Air base 103, and organized by the Squadron of Hunting 1/12 " Cambrésis ".

Wonderful peice of machinery and an excellent capture. I might have opted for just a bit slower shutter speed to capture a bit of motion in the blades.

So much 'stuff' has been added to modern helicopters that it surprises me they can still fly ! I remember when they were a mere framework.

@Ronnie 2¢: Hello Ronnie ! Not only fly ,they are handy in a astonishing way. I also saw former helicopters in the Show of Le Bourget in 1965! (I just have 2-3 photos in black and white of planes wich I took when I was a child!). Thank you .
